Lolo Patch Notes
Lolo Patch Notes: July 18 to July 24, 2026
Lolo helps turn “I want to do something” into “we’re here together.” This week we made nearby discovery clearer on mobile, strengthened plans and invitations, and smoothed the path into Lolo across web, iOS, and World.
What shipped
- Better mobile map discovery: tapping an area now surfaces people more reliably, neighborhood search is easier to use, and users can expand the result set when a dense area has more people to explore.
- Smarter plan updates: the Lolo assistant can handle more natural edits to a Smart Plan, including title, time, place, privacy, and invite changes, without losing the plan’s existing context.
- Stronger guest invitations: guest RSVPs now keep required email details more consistently, declined guests are excluded from plan updates, and shared invitation previews can show the venue with a safer branded fallback.
- World verification guidance: Verified Offer redemption now includes a short in-product tutorial with progress feedback so users have more context before completing World verification.
- A clearer way into Lolo: the public entry experience now routes people toward the right web or mobile path, keeps optional sign-in actions idle until tapped, and simplifies which login methods appear in production.
What improved
- Map clarity at scale: people in tapped areas are visible again, ping levels and map search behave more consistently on small screens, and the visual stack now keeps map labels, privacy-safe ping boundaries, ETA routes, and Lolo profiles in a predictable order.
- Plan-request polish: resolved Smart Plan join requests no longer linger as stale Approve or X prompts after a decision has already been made.
- Sign-in reliability: World ID verification-flow recovery and Apple callback safeguards reduce dead ends, while native launch handling avoids a distracting login-screen flash for returning app users.
- Mobile form comfort: text fields and message composition were adjusted to reduce unwanted iOS focus zoom and make keyboard-heavy flows feel steadier.
- Ping copy: small prompt wording was tightened so creating an “I’m around” ping is easier to understand at a glance.
- Behind the scenes: browser analytics delivery was repaired while privacy sanitization remains in place, improving Lolo’s ability to spot real product friction without exposing sensitive user data.
Growth/community notes
- Referral and Circle links remain the growth bridge: personal invite links and community-specific Circle links continue to bring existing friend, professional, and community graphs into Lolo. No new referral release is claimed this week.
- X still helps make discovery personal: existing X friend context continues to support finding people users already know on Lolo. This week’s work improved the surrounding map and access experience rather than launching a new X integration.
- VELVET remains the token-community example: the VELVET holder Circle continues to show how an onchain community can become a real-world Circle for finding, chatting with, and meeting other holders. No new VELVET-specific release is claimed this week.
- Lolo is live on iOS: this week’s native launch, sign-in, keyboard, and map polish improves the App Store experience without representing a new app-version announcement.
What’s next
- Complete the first Verified Offers pilots: move from product foundations and merchant outreach into carefully verified real-world redemptions, including group experiences coordinated through Lolo.
- Retest World entry end to end: confirm routing, challenge freshness, and authentication inside the real World Mini App before treating the latest path as fully closed.
- Keep personalizing dense maps: prioritize friends, contacts, X connections, Circles, and useful network context while preserving coarse, user-controlled location boundaries.
- Improve notification measurement: finish reliable, privacy-safe attribution before restarting broader notification experiments or claiming conversion gains.
